Overview:

The SINON II Visual Parking Security system is an all-encompassing integrated solution for parking security that improves upon the highly successful original SINON. It can be tailored to suit the specific individual requirements of customers and is suitable for parking areas at office, commercial, residential and entertainment complexes as well as public facilities such as airports and dedicated parking garages.

Parking Security Features:

1. Records the vehicle, driver, licence plate and vehicle colour

2. Automatically matches entry events with exit events

3. Flags anomalies such as an exit without an entry event

4. Provides security operators with full views of entry/exit data

5. Adopts manual override for security checks

6. Automatically deletes completed transactions after a defined period has expired

7. Configures deletion policies for complete, incomplete and flagged events 

Parking Security System:

Records:

Up to 12 video channels (six lanes) in a variety of configurations. Multiple units can be linked to accommodate numerous lanes or very high traffic flows.

Supports:

A separate server database or incorporates a database for smaller systems. 

Discrepancies:

The system allows the operator to verify pictures and make a judgment on whether to open the boom or to initiate additional security measures. All discrepancies are flagged for review and the database offers extensive sorting capabilities. A broad set of deletion policies also offers efficient storage resource management without sacrificing security standards.

Integration:

Parking Payment Collection System:

The inherent flexibility in the design, enables configurations to meet most requirements. With the integration capability, all information (vehicle, licence plate, colour and driver) can be recorded on the payment system as well as on the ticket.

Overall Surveillance System:

Configured as part of the comprehensive ARGUS surveillance system, Sinon seamlessly integrates into the overall security system, providing supervisors, management and other security personnel access to parking cameras as well as the parking database.

Information Management:

Events:

Sinon provides a comprehensive event management system. The internal logic automatically links exit events to the related entry events either by vehicle number plate, ticket ID or cardholder ID. Should a match be found and the option is enabled, the operator will be presented with the entry and exit pictures for facial verification of the driver. 

Licence Plate Recognition:

The automatic licence plate recognition (ANPR) option offers an excellent solution for parking and access control management systems where automatic identification of vehicles is desirable. Depending upon the camera used, accuracy of better than 99% is achievable, even in poor lighting conditions.

The SINON Mini is designed for small systems with a maximum of 6 lanes and is ideal for residential properties and small office complexes. It offers:

SINON Major has all the features of the SINON Mini as well as the following enhancements:

2. Supports fully redundant databases with automatic replication

Sinon Traffic:

SINON Traffic is designed for high-speed monitoring in fast multi-lane applications and can be operated day and night. It offers:

1. High vehicle speed operation Integral recording of high definition overview cameras (programmable duration)

2. Clear, admissible evidence for pre and post incident prosecution

Sinon Spot:

SINON Spot is a simple, portable fast-flow system specifically designed to detect and record vehicle number plates on the fly. Typical applications include traffic monitoring and roadblocks.
